Ms. Anggitta Mastroianni specializes in nuclear nonproliferation, counterterrorism, and strategic trade controls.
With over a decade of experience, she has worked with governments, international organizations, and industries to assess and mitigate proliferation risks, develop policy frameworks, and enhance regulatory compliance.
As a former CBRN Weapons Advisor at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), Mutti led efforts to evaluate Indonesia’s preparedness against chemical terrorism, develop national risk assessment frameworks, and identify gaps in response capabilities. She has also played a key role in monitoring and evaluating security-focused initiatives, ensuring their effectiveness in preventing the misuse of dual-use goods and technologies.
In her current role as a Research Analyst at the Center for Policy Research, Ms. Anggitta Mastroianni conducts research on strategic trade controls, microelectronics, and intangible technology transfers, shaping high-level policy recommendations for government agencies and international stakeholders.
Ms. Anggitta Mastroianni holds an MA in Science and Security from King’s College London and an MA in Political Science from the University at Albany, SUNY. She also holds two certifications from the World Institute for Nuclear Security: (i) Nuclear Security Professional with Specialization in Science and Engineering for Nuclear Security, and (ii) Nuclear Security Professional with Specialization in Communicating with Civil Society.
Her expertise spans policy analysis, risk assessment, capacity building, and stakeholder engagement.
